Hemerocallis commonly known as daylily are a versatile, hardy, clumping group of perennials. There are many varieties available. We grow a dwarf yellow variety called Stella D Oro. Throughout the warmer months Stella D Oro produces heaps of trumpet-shaped flowers on small stems. Stella D Oro will only grow to 40-60cm in height with about the same spread.
A perfect plant choice for garden borders, pots or mass planted. In the cooler months it will dieback and retreat underground. In late winter- early spring the foliage will return and soon be followed by the striking flowers. Grows best in full sun.
