A clumping accent looking perennial plant with large dark green leaves. Huge stately flower spikes up to 1.8m high are produced in summer. Each spike is made up of numerous purple/ pink bracts, with small white crinkled flowers.
Does best in a moist partly shaded/ shaded position. Will tolerate light frosts. Keep moist especially in summer.
We propagate these locally at our nursery in Drouin. We grow these in 140mm pots. All our plants are adapted to our climate in West Gippsland so should perform really well in most areas of Victoria.
